Sunshine and showers in Stevenage

Posted by: In Photovoltaic

Weather forecasts are getting better all of the time and the ‘two drop’ icon featured heavily in the outlook for an installation in Stevenage earlier this week. But fortunately, the sunny spells were longer than the rainy periods and, despite the odd damp patch (we came down from the roof when there was thunder and lightening), we managed to complete the array in the time we’d forecast. There were a dozen of BenQ’s new 315W panel, which replaced the 325W versions we’d originally suggested but which have proved so popular, there none in the country. Just like their bigger siblings, the 315s are nicely made and great to look at since the thin silver busbars are on the back of the panel, not the front, helping them be one of the most efficient modules available.
