Greg Barker launched the Renewable Heat Incentive today – ‘the world’s first long-term financial support programme for renewable heat’. He said “Not only will people have warmer homes and cheaper fuel bills, they will reduce their carbon emissions and will also get cash payments for installing these new technologies”. Now that’s music to our ears.

If you’ve already had one of the applicable technologies installed (biomass, solar thermal, ground source & air source heat pumps), you can apply today. Your application will be made through the Ofgem site and they explain exactly what you need to do.
